Agreed. I feel the defense is going to surprise some people.
As long as most/all of the key players stay healthy. But VT has had one *hell* of a hard time keeping people healthy. I'm hoping the new weight room, improved S&C, and improved nutrition help out in that area.
The offense? I don't know. WR is thin. OL is good but thin. We haven't seen an elite RB from this current group. I am encouraged by the knowledge that Burmeister was a decent QB, even though he had almost zero chance to learn the offense. What will a full offseason do for him?
